Safeguarding Issues

Sexual Harassment:

Is any unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or any other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature that interferes with an employee's work performance or creates a hostile, intimidating, or offensive work environment. It can manifest in various forms, such as inappropriate comments, gestures, or actions, and can occur between coworkers, supervisors, or even external parties.

Delayed Payment: Occurs when a company fails to fulfill its financial obligations by not making timely payments to its suppliers, vendors, or service providers. This can lead to cash flow problems, strain business relationships, and negatively impact the operations of the affected parties.

Non Payment: Refers to a situation in which a business fails to make any payment it is legally or contractually obligated to make. This could include non-payment of salaries, invoices, loans, or any other financial commitments. Non-payment can result in legal disputes, financial losses, and reputational damage.

Emotional Abuse: Involves a pattern of behavior that is designed to degrade, belittle, or manipulate employees or colleagues psychologically and emotionally. It can include verbal abuse, humiliation, intimidation, or creating a hostile work environment that damages an individual's mental and emotional well-being. Emotional abuse can be perpetuated by coworkers, supervisors, or even clients.

Physical Harm: Refers to any physical violence, injury, or harm inflicted upon employees, customers, or other individuals associated with the business. This can include physical altercations, accidents, or unsafe working conditions that result in bodily harm. Ensuring workplace safety is crucial to prevent physical harm and maintain a secure and healthy environment for all involved parties.
